Yesterday, Open Era history was remade when the Djokovic-Nadal final lasted five hours and 53 minutes, breaking the 1988 US Open Wilander-Lendl final of four hours and 54 minutes. Marathon matches of this magnitude, specifically Down Under, were highlighted today on SportsIllustrated.com, fourteen of them to be exact.
